SSSH Review

This is an interesting site. Sssh bills itself as an ‘erotic journal for women.’ They offer advice columns, stories, news, erotic pics and movies and more. As I browse the tour then the member’s area it seems like it is a porn site that offers more than just porn. It is a place where women get their beauty tips, sex advice, can buy a vibrator and find some erotic, sensual porn to check out. I like the idea of Sssh and am curious if they can execute it well.

When it comes to the porn aspect of Sssh it is all about beauty and fantasy so the people in the pictures are all good looking. There are a lot of guys featured and they all seem to be muscular and in great shape, having just stepped out of GQ. The women are beautiful and have nice bodies. It really is a site filled with beauty.

There are three different types of action offered up by this site. There is what they call mild which is some slight nudity, and sensual situations. These scenes offer a lot of partial nudity posing or kissing and touching. The next step up is scenes that offer full nudity and more sexual situations this might include a couple intertwined nude on a bed to a nude massage. The third level is full on sex. These are more like regular porn where there is very explicit action and often some very close-up shots of the action. There seems to be a nice selection of all of these so there is something for every taste level. The hardcore stuff isn’t as raunchy as a lot of regular porn. There is a lot of kissing and touching and mutual pleasure. These scenes are meant to convey a couple enjoying each other, not a guy trying to see how hard he can fuck a girl. I actually really like this kind of softer hardcore because it is more erotic.

The over 5,000 pictures on Sssh are all really nice looking digital stills. The size and picture quality of them is top notch and I found myself enjoying the way they layout the galleries. There are pictures on each page and a story that goes along with each gallery. The 200+ movies are in WMV format an offer you two different quality levels to choose from. The lower level movies are average looking, but nothing too earth shattering. The higher quality movies are DVD quality or very close. They are nice and clean and clear and hold up well at full screen size. The file size of the movies, especially the higher grade ones can be pretty large so you might have a short wait while they download.

There are a ton of extras on this site including beauty tips, sex advice columns, handbooks on sexual positions, reviews of sex toys as well as a sex toy shop and all kinds of sex and relationship information. All of this is geared towards women and as I browsed it I found some to be very good and some to be average or even kind of juvenile. My favorite piece of advice explains that a man has “his very own G spot” and to hit a woman should stick her finger in a guy’s ass and search around until she finds his prostate then she can massage it. Yeah, that’s going to go over well without a long talk first. Those few misses aside, the advice and information seems to be pretty good and on point.

This is an odd site. It is one part porn and one part information and is meant, I think, as an all around sex related site for women – think one stop shop for all things sex related. The movies and pictures look good and the content, even the hardcore stuff, is more on the softer erotic side which is nice and seems to be favored by women. The advice and information articles should be of some use to women so I think they will find them to be an added value to the site. If you are looking for a massive site with just naked guys, this is not it. If you want a site that features some nude men, couples having sex and even some solo girls and lesbian stuff along with some sex stories and information, this is a pretty good site to check out.
